“The Math of Success”

Chapter 21 of Scott Adams’  is called ” The Math of Success” starts off by stating ” You can’t directly control luck, but you can move from a game with low odds of success to a game with better odds.”

Adams then goes on to list 13 areas to people to “get a working knowledge” of to increase their odds of success:

“Public speaking

Psychology

Business writing

Accounting

Design (the basic)

Conversation

Overcoming shyness

second language

Golf

Proper grammar

Persuasion

Technology(hobby level)

Proper voice technique”

How can I apply this to the algorithm?  What are the most efficient ways to get to a working knowledge of these things? I am going to try and use this as a structure for exploring these areas, and how to apply them to the algorithm.
